• 🔮 What comes in the Book Clubs for Classrooms Box?

  Every month, we send you five Literati-choice books expertly curated to your classroom’s grade and interests. All books are vetted for age appropriate content.

• 🧠 How does Literati select the books for Book Clubs for Classrooms?

  Literati has always been known for the quality of the books we offer - our curators travel the globe to find the hidden gems, as well as seek out the must-haves, so that our Clubs always offer a handpicked experience of not just joy, but discovery. When educators personalize their membership based on grade level and class interests, we tailor book selections your students are sure to love — and you can update those preferences anytime in your account settings.

• 📖 Do I Keep All The Books?

  Yes! Book Clubs for Classrooms is designed to help teachers build classroom libraries — or use books as student rewards and recognition — you choose! Each month, you keep all five books, no returns needed, so your collection grows all year long.

• 🚚 How often do the boxes ship?

  Boxes ship monthly from January through May and September through December. Since most schools are on summer break, we pause shipments during the months of June, July, and August. You are not charged anything for these months. Shipments resume in September, just in time to kick off the new school year with fresh reads!

• 💲 How often am I charged for my membership?

  If purchased as a gift, educators will receive a certain number of shipments depending on the package the gifter chooses. You are charged only once. If purchased directly as an educator, you will receive ongoing boxes, and be charged based on the payment option you choose. The longer you commit to, the greater your savings on books.
  
  You can pay:

  • Monthly (which will charge you for the months of January, February, March, April, May, September, October, November, and December).
  • Every 3 Months (which charges you every three shipments). So, for example, if you sign up in November, your first cycle will be November, December, and January. You will then be charged again in February for the second cycle, which will be February, March, and April. Then you’ll be charged in May to get boxes in the months of May, September, and October.
  • Yearly, you pay once to cover the nine of twelve months that we ship during the year, and are billed again one year later. All memberships are ongoing - you will receive a box every month that you are a member.

• 📦 When will I get my first box?

  Your first box will arrive within 7 business days after creating your membership. You’ll receive your follow-on boxes around the same time every month you’re a member after. If you need to adjust your delivery date for any reason, contact support.

• ☀️ Why do we “pause” June, July, and August?

  Clubs for Classrooms memberships are “paused” over June, July, and August because most schools are on break over summer. We pause membership over June, July, and August and resume shipping in September. More updates on this soon.

• 👪 I’m a parent and want to get books delivered to my home every month – is this the right product for me?

• 🏫 Does my school earn rewards for signing up for Book Clubs for Classrooms?

• 📚 Can I purchase multiple memberships?

  Yes! We’re making it easy for educators to manage multiple memberships so they can build their classroom library with more book diversity. Will you receive the same books? In general, educators should expect to receive different books every time, even across multiple memberships, though on rare occasions, you may receive the same book twice as an extra copy for your classroom.

• 🎁 Is this a good gift for a teacher?

  Yes! In fact, 87% of educators we surveyed are actively building their classroom library, and books are often their largest expense – so not only does it make a great, exciting way to create a golden moment in the classroom, it directly helps alleviate one of the most burdensome classroom expenses.

• 🚌 How does school delivery work?

  If educators are buying for themselves, they will enter their school delivery address at checkout. If received as a gift, educators will enter the shipping information for their school when they activate their membership. Packages are delivered wherever your school typically receives UPS deliveries — front office, mailroom, or designated drop-off location. Educators will receive an email when their packages arrive at their final destination.

• ❌ What if I want to cancel?

  You can cancel anytime by contacting support. You will be refunded on a pro rata basis for any non-delivered boxes in your plan. So, for instance, if you signed up for a yearly payment but are canceling in month 2, your first box will be converted to the price of a monthly box, and the difference deducted from your total refund. If you purchased a Yearly payment plan and cancel in Month 7, your previous boxes will be converted at the Every 3 Months rate, and the difference will be deducted from your total refund.

• ❤️ How does Book Clubs for Classrooms help children who don't have access to a home library?

  When you sign up for Book Clubs for Classrooms, you bring a wide variety of books into your classroom. We encourage educators to share these books at the classroom level or use them as student reward, sending them home with students if your school allows it. Having books at home not only is correlated with stronger academic achievement (up to 3.2 additional years of education, which holds across different socioeconomic backgrounds), and research shows that students with home libraries read 50% more minutes per day than those without.
