Red and Lulu

Two red cardinals love that special time of year when the family living nearby strings lights in their evergreen tree’s branches and gather around to sing “O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree.” One day, Red returns to the nest to find the noble tree has been cut down and hauled into the city, with Lulu in it! Guided only by the memory of their beloved song, Red searches the snowy city for Lulu. Could that be her, singing from their special branch, in the middle of Rockefeller Plaza?
