At Literati, we believe that by simply discovering a magical book, a child’s relationship with reading can be changed for the better.
But it’s not that easy for everyone. Did you know that 61% of low-income families have no books at all in their homes for their children?* [Source]
This Giving Tuesday, we’re spotlighting groups that work tirelessly to change the lives of kids in underserved communities by ensuring they have access to great books. We’re proud to partner with them to provide the resources kids need to fall in love with reading. Together, we’ve donated over a million books (and counting)!
If you’re a Literati customer, you can join in and participate for Giving Tuesday and beyond. Simply use your Literati book box and pre-paid shipping label to send us any gently loved books your child has outgrown. Through our partnerships with these charitable organizations, we’ll make sure your books find a new home with a child who needs them.
